Helder Pereira is a singer, songwriter, music arranger and teacher who lives
and works in and around Toronto. He moved to Canada from his native Portugal
and for many years has called Toronto his home. He records and performs both
solo and with his band , as well as working and performing with children in
concerts, street festivals, TV appearances etc.
Helder has never given up on his musical roots, having released so far 3 albums,
mostly in Portuguese covering a wide range of folk, traditional music and poetry
as well as artists like Zeca Alfonso and original material.
His latest CD “Out of the Blue” which he wrote, recorded and produced with both
his sons playing  drums and bass, is a collection of 15 songs in English  that
reveals is love for the blues and classic rock.
